Colson Kelly or Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique way he raps. Baker was born in Houston, Texas on April 22 in 1990 to an German and English Scottish family. His parents were missionaries, and in his early years, they traveled extensively along with them. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker was moved to Denver along with his father, and lived there for a time. Baker had to endure bullying from other youngsters because of his poor status. The first time he heard hip-hop was as he began sixth the sixth grade. The profile of the Cleveland rapper rocketed when the release of his debut mixtape at the end of 2011.
