Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist currently competing with the Flyweight Division in the UFC. She is the elder sister of fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is who is a Muay Thai kickboxer, began her fight sports career at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Antonina's UFC contract was re-extended in the wake of this win. Antonina was offered a UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko took the win via unanimous decision but was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi via split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the loss and defeated Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington vs. Lawler via second-round rear-naked choke, and was awarded the fight of the night bonus for the bout. Shevchenko lost to Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, and was also defeated by Ariane.
